Super Sibs: A Group for Brothers & Sisters

A play-based group just for the siblings of kids with developmental differences — because they're growing up in it too.

When one child in a family has a developmental difference, their brothers and sisters are living a version of it right alongside them. They sit through the appointments, learn to read the room before a meltdown, and often become very good at not needing anything. Super Sibs is a small group built just for them.

Led by a pediatric OT, each session is play first: cooperative games, hands-on projects and a little bit of silliness with other kids who get it without needing it explained. Woven through the play are the real conversations — what it's like at home, the feelings that are hard to say out loud, and simple tools for the moments that are tough.

This is not therapy for the sibling and it's not a class about their brother or sister. It's a space where they are the main character for an hour — building confidence, connection and a few friends who understand.
