Children exploring a natural tree fort at the Ground and Grow outdoor nature pod in Oceanside

Ground & Grow is our outdoor nature pod for children ages 4–6 — a small group that meets weekly at Guajome Park in Oceanside, rain or shine. It is led by a pediatric occupational therapist, which means every muddy, messy, climbing-a-log moment is chosen on purpose.

Outdoor play is one of the most efficient ways to build the things kids actually need before school: balance and core strength, motor planning, frustration tolerance, and the social back-and-forth of figuring out a game with other children. Our nature pod is especially popular with homeschooling families and with parents looking for a play-based alternative to structured preschool enrichment.

Groups stay small on purpose so every child gets real attention from the therapist leading the pod.
