Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my child needs OT?

Signs include difficulty with fine motor tasks (writing, buttons, zippers), sensory sensitivities, emotional meltdowns, self-care delays, or not meeting developmental milestones. A free consult is the easiest first step.

Do you come to our home?

Yes — in-home OT is our primary model. We serve all of San Diego County. We also offer sessions at our Vista clinic and via telehealth statewide.

What insurances do you accept?

We're in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Optum, TriCare West, and Cigna/ASH. We're also a SDRC & IRC Early Start vendor for early intervention (birth to age 3).

What is a neuroaffirming approach?

It means we celebrate your child's unique brain and body rather than trying to "fix" them. We build on strengths, use play as the vehicle, and involve your whole family so progress extends beyond sessions.
